I am using formula (last(item1)+last(item2))/2 to get an average value, this works fine until a host becomes unavailable and LAST will continue to return a value, which is expected of how it works. Now I am trying to make it so this formula with be null or nodata when a host is down. I have tried replacing last with avg within 10minutes ( as my polls are 10m each, and praying somehow 2 values dont get pulled in and skew the result) - (avg(item1,10m)+last(item2,10m))/2, now this has returned error "cannot evaluate avg(10m) not enough data" which may suffice but the graph for this item is somehow still frozen at the last value it had before it was disconnected or down. Any help with this is much appreciated, thank you!!
