Hi there,
I'm using Zabbix to monitor my Pfsense firewalls. I have P2P connections between multiple sites and was previously able to successfully monitor the tunnel status (up or down) for each connected site, running pfsense v22.01and using a simple template = Zabbix4 - 'template_pfsense_active.xml'.
However, after updating to the latest version of Pfsense (v22.05), this specific tunnel status monitoring attribute has broken in Zabbix (everything else is fine). Started taking a look at the 'trigger prototype' for this and the previously working name and expression reads like this ->
Name: OpenVPN Server {#NAME} is Down
Expression: last(/Template pfSense Active/pfsense.expected_carp_status)<>2 and avg(/Template pfSense Active/pfsense.value[openvpn_servervalue,{#SERVER},status],5m)=0
Furthermore, I ran a test on the expression(s) and am getting this result back ->
Result
Perhaps a simple tweak to the expression needs to be made to fix this? Hoping someone can help me get my tunnel status monitoring back up as it's critical for us to monitor the tunnel status of our sites.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.
