high netstat and CPU usage - 1.1.3

Hi

I did a fresh install of zabbix 1.1.3 on SUSE 9.3 prof, The agent tends to take a high CPU load and it open an unbelieveable number of TCP connections

zabbix-1.1.3 # netstat -tap | grep 10050 | wc -l
8378

Any ideas ??
