Hello.
I have a zabbix server + 4 zabbix proxies setup running which i need to update to version 3.0. Currently it's an 1.8.x setup. My question is what is the best way of doing so? I would:
1. stop zabbix server
2. let zabbix proxies running version 1.8
3. upgrade zabbix server to 2.0.
4. upgrade database
5. upgrade zabbix server to 3.0 but let it shut off.
....now the fun starts.
Now i have to shutdown the proxies and upgrade them and their databases to 3.0 before start the new zabbix 3.0 server right?
Well that would lead to dataloss because during downtime of the proxies no data can be collected. Is there a way around this?
