    Zabbix SNMP Traps - Update alarm on state change

    Hi All,

    We have set-up an instance of zabbix that receives some SNMP traps from our vRealize instance. Everything seems to be working fine both for alarm raise and alarm clear however we are also receiving traps for alarm state changes. Example, an alarm transitions from warning to critical state. Such OID is shown below with vmwTrapProblemChange.

    Are there any ways and means how to check if there are any alarms that are currently active match the same trap, and then update the criticality (for example but we might need to change also other fields like latency values ?).

    DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance type=67 value=Timeticks: (1441698897) 166 days, 20:43:08.97
    SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 type=6 value=OID: VMWARE-VROPS-MIB::vmwTrapProblemChange
    VMWARE-VROPS-MIB::vmwAlertAliveServerName.0 type=4 value=STRING: "XXXXXX.xxx.xxxx"
    VMWARE-VROPS-MIB::vmwAlertEntityName.0 type=4 value=STRING: "vm-testnode1"
    VMWARE-VROPS-MIB::vmwAlertEntityType.0 type=4 value=STRING: "General"
    VMWARE-VROPS-MIB::vmwAlertTimestamp.0 type=4 value=STRING: "1663594038391"
    VMWARE-VROPS-MIB::vmwAlertCriticality.0 type=4 value=STRING: "immediate"

    Thank you!
