I've just setup new zbx 6.0 LTS aggainst galera cluster.. running 1k2 hosts with 226k items and 1k8 vps.. - I forgot to enable sql partitioning I had on Zabbix 3 and 5.4 - is it OK if I run it now? I've already quite a lot of data in there:
root@mdb1:/var/lib/mysql/zabbix# ls -alh | grep G
total 231G
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 1.1G Nov 29 13:37 auditlog.ibd
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 18G Nov 29 13:37 history.ibd
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 3.2G Nov 29 13:37 history_str.ibd
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 191G Nov 29 13:37 history_uint.ibd
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 16G Nov 29 13:37 trends_uint.ibd
I have to keep 31 days of history and 1y of trends..
If yes, can I follow instructions in this URL: https://blog.zabbix.com/partitioning...cedures/13531/ or is there any more preferred way how to do it?
