I'm attempting to setup a "Simple Check" (ping) to a gateway device. However, when trying to add the gateway device under: Configuration >> Hosts in the Zabbix web interface I cannot simply specify the IP address. I'm required to enter an IP address under either: SNMP Interfaces, JMX interfaces, or IPMI interfaces neither of which apply to this situation. Even if I enter the IP address under one of those fields, I'm still required to specify a port number (which does not apply to a simple ping). Any suggestions on how I could properly set this up?
