Hi all,
I have 3 Windows hosts on which, whenever I start the Zabbix service, several CMD.exe and conhost.exe processes are started. They accumulate in number in time and they disappear again when I stop the Zabbix service. I disabled all items and discovery rules, but this still keeps on happening. Nothing special in zabbix_agent2.conf.
Anyone any clue? Zabbix version is 5.4.10 .

UPDATE: all hosts same to have a different Windows versions, namely Windows 10 Education, not sure if that's related.
UPDATE2: I just discovered that the problem happens when the smart.disk.get from the SMART by Zabbix agent 2 template is executed. Not sure why the additional processes are started and not stopped.
UPDATE3: the problem seems to disappear while using Zabbix Agent 2 version 6.0
