Virtual Machine host undergo vMotion
I have a few VMware EXSi hosts hosted in Zabbix and a cluster of running VMs are automatically detected and created under each of it.
Now the VMs undergo vMotion, which some of the VMs migrate to other VMware EXSi hosts, causing loss of data.
As Zabbix is by default cannot have the same hostname, both if there're in the same host group or not. Therefore the newly detected VM hosts can't be automatically created as there is a clash of the same hostname detection.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Or any idea on how to solve this?
