I'm trying to get the oracle plugin (redhat Zabbix agent2) to work with active checks. I've gotten things to work with passive checks, but I have a couple databases behind a NAT, so I want to send info via active checks. Has anyone successfully done this? I cloned the template for "Oracle by Zabbix Agent 2" and changed the type of each "Zabbix Agent" to "Zabbix Agent (Active)", however I don't see any data come in, nor any specific errors on the zabbix server or zabbix agent under /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.log. I have the {$ORACLE.CONNSTRING}, {$ORACLE.USER}, {$ORACLE.PASSWORD}, and {$ORACLE.SERVICE} set on the Zabbix server. Has anyone figured out how this can work?
