I am working on setting up Zabbix for my environment. I have one test device, a PaloAlto firewall that was reporting data accurately until I patched the underlying OS (Ubuntu) last week. My graphs are no longer displaying the data I need. It appears Zabbix can communicate with the firewall because SNMP is green in Availability and I have last check time on my interface. I always take a snapshot before I patch and reverted. The graphs are now displaying the data again.
What are some common troubleshooting steps I can look at for this? I already ran systemctl status zabbix-server and it was running and like I mentioned, the Availability was green and I saw traffic in the logs between the firewall and the Zabbix server, including the test ICMP traffic which was successful. No changes on the firewall, just Ubuntu patching.
