I've had some trouble setting up Zabbix to connect to a remote postfix server and send out notifications. In the end I decided to give up as it looks like it doesn't support SASL authentication but that is another post for another day.
My issue is I've removed the settings for the smtp server and turned off the notification feature for all users but zabbix-server still hits the email server every minute and tries to authenticate ? I've tried removing the email media completely but it's still trying to login ?
Haven't got a clue how to stop it so asking for help from the experts
