I'm trying to configure SNMP v3 authPriv monitoring with a MikroTik device. Before adding a device i want to an SNMP item from the Zabbix. SNMP v1, v2 and v3 noAuthNoPriv works fine. V3 authPriv gives me the Timeout while connecting to "192.168.6.15:161" error. I've checked the snmpwalk from the zabbix server
snmpwalk -v3 -l authPriv -u mgmt -a SHA1 -A i8L9GK2bwhhi4jKNE75GFrPG -x DES -X GY3d3TshfwWJKDS25PEvMsLj 192.168.6.15:161 iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 and this gives me the expected result: iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "RouterOS RB4011iGS+"
My MikroTik / Zabbix configuration dialogs are attached to this post. Does anyone has an idea what could be possibly wrong?
