I would like to know if someone have a complete guide on how to install Zabbix with a external Database server? I am pretty new to Zabbix and I am not a Linux wizard so a guide would be helpful. Here the setup I planned to deploy:
- Zabbix 6.0 LTS, latest version (Server, Frontend, Agent) on a Linux Alma 9.2 VM
- Database on a separate physical box (Qnap) and the Database will be a MariaDB 10.5.8
- Web server will be Apache
I have install Zabbix on a VM for a test purpose but now I would like to go deeper with the app and I would like to switch to an external DB server. I look around and didn't found anything useful for an installation with an external DB that is where I am mostly stuck at this point.
