We have some Linksys SPS224G4 devices, and use snmp for receve gigabite port utilization. But this device cannot send this info, only received and transmitted bytes.
So we use formula (change(1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.25)*8)/30 for calculate receving speed on G1 for 30 seconds.
But i think that device use 32bit int for this data, and thats why some times it overflowing and change between last and current speed is very big negative number => zabbix log:
item "Linksys SPS224G4-1:UtilizationOutG1" became not supported: Received value [-1144260441.333333] is not suitable for value type [Numeric (unsigned)]
and we have big gap in graph (i think that zabbix stop calculate this data for some time when it receive not supported value).
We need some decision this problem (we allow little gap for 30 seconds)
Also we cannot change type of this value for float - than graph will begin from very low value.
