I'm new at Zabbix and looking to migrate from PRTG. A huge hurdle for me in doing this, is importing templates in Zabbix for the Palo Alto NGFW.
I've tried importing several different templates, but always get errors:
Import failed:
Invalid tag "'/zabbix_export'": unexpected tag "date".
Invalid parameter "/1/request_method": value must be 0.
This is trying with both version 6.0 templates and 5.4 templates. I've tried template files .XML and . YAML file types
I've tried downloading the template files with different web browsers, but no success importing them.
My question is:
Is there something you need to do, to be able to import templates?
Is there some alternative to using templates for Palo Alto devices?
I think manually adding all relevant SNMP items one by one is not viable.
