Hi Zabbix Community,
I need some assistance. I am new to Zabbix and creating a new deployment to see if this fits our needs. But I hit a wall with these two issues. Any guidance would be appreciated. Please let me know if you need more information. Also new at posting on forums
Things to note:
Using agentless discovery. Just ICMP ping for now.
Zabbix 6.4.13.
1. Hosts on DHCP get a new IP and a whole new host gets discovered and added to discovery group with the same DNS name with _1 at the end. Instead of updating the IP of the already existing host.
2. I need to create an autodiscovery that pings the device and based on the DNS name adding it to a group.
ie; Some ID's are WMNTA to go to a CLINICAL group or PCXA to a PCX group.
