Dynamic macros for required string in web scenarios

I found an older (somewhat unrelated) forum thread that seems to indicate it is possible to use macros in required strings for web scenarios.

I'm getting a string not found error and macro doesn't seem to resolve to its value when I try similar setup.




Is this supported functionality? Can I use dynamic macros in the required string of web scenarios?
