Hi
I have identical networks with hosts with the same names and IP:s but with different proxies and host groups. The host names (and/or visible names) are set via discovery rules.
A problem arise when some hosts have the same visible name (based on the host name). The host names aren't necessarily the same, but the visible names are.
Zabbix is complaining, it won't allow duplicated visible names.
This enforcement can be turned off for host names, which I assume also will allow duplicate visible names.
What are the consequences of allowing multiple hosts to share the same visible name? (it's practical in my case)
Corrutpt databases etc?
