My zabbix server makes many connections against a server I have in azure

We have updated the Zabbix server to version 7.0.6 and we have noticed that on the servers we have configured, the agent is constantly making too many connections, whereas before this was about 120 per hour. Right now it is making more than 2000 per hour.
Can anyone tell me why this could be happening?
