Dependencies between triggers not working correctly
Hi Zabbix-Community,
I think I need your help for an issue I came across.
I'm trying to monitor a remote site with Zabbix. All I want to do is ping using the default ping template.
Also, I set up the dependencies as followed:
Ping Router - no dependencies
Ping first switch behind router - dependent on Router
Switch behind switch - dependent on first switch
All computers connected to first switch - dependent on first switch
All computers connected to second switch - dependent on second switch
So far, so good. But now, when something is broken (e.g. the router is down/internet down), I still get messages for all the other devices.
To me, it seems like the modem is triggering the last, after all other emails are already sent out. Is there a way I can change this, e.g. holding mails back until the trigger of the dependency is checked the next time?
Or do you have any other idea?
