Zabbix v6.4 Azure VM with no public IP, using Agent 2 Active.

Hi everyone, I just spun up a Zabbix v6.4 instance on a VPS on the internet wild, looking to monitor an Azure instance. Setup the first couple of VM's painlessly (they had public IP's), when I setup one of the DC's I hit a brick wall. I installed the Agent v2 as an "Active" agent, when I configure the host on the Zabbix server I've tried a couple of config's as far as the interface goes and none of them get me the results I'm looking for. If I leave the interface blank, it never acknowledges that the host is active or "alive". When I configure the interface as an "agent" it prompts me for an IP and I've tried to plug the private IP of the server(the one I'm trying to monitor) and nothing. The agent is communicating with the Zabbix server as I can see data being retrieved, but the host still is greyed out and branded "unknown" as far as connectivity. How do I get around this?
