I want to monitor Kafka via Zabbix. From all the research I've done it seems the only way to do that is via JMX.
My problem is these servers are blocked to incoming requests. So I guess I need a solution like the Active Zabbix Agent, but the Zabbix Java Gateway only seems to work with passive polling. Has anyone encountered this use case and found a solution?
