Hi all,
I have created an instance of Zabbix Cloud and I am using it to monitor Azure virtual machines.
I was able to monitor a VM using the Azure HTTP template after configuring the service principle, secret ID etc. However there are some elements that I need to monitor that are not in this particular template.
So, I have installed an agent on this server and added the Windows by active agent template to this same server. However I am not able to retrieve the data.
The logs say :
Unable to connect to [abc.zabbix.cloud]:10051 [cannot connect to [[abc.zabbix.cloud]:10051]: connection timed out]
8440:20260213:104103.907 Unable to send heartbeat message to [abc.zabbix.cloud]:10051 [cannot connect to [[abc.zabbix.cloud]:10051]: connection timed out]
8440:20260213:104106.921 Unable to connect to [abc.zabbix.cloud]:10051 [cannot connect to [[abc.zabbix.cloud]:10051]: connection timed out]
Up to now I have :
1. Disabled the windows firewall on the server itself
2. Disabled the NSG tied to the virtual network where the server resides
3. Used both DNS and IP of the instance in the zabbix_agentd.conf
Has anyone encountered this issue before ?
