I'm aware that there have already been forum threads about this but unfortunately I haven't been successful at all.
I'm trying to setup my Zabbix server to send e-mails via the Office365 SMTP server. But no matter what settings I try, I always get a Login denied error 501 or similar. I have this [email protected] account setup in other non-zabbix infrastructure and there everything goes well. Therefore, it's not an Office365 setup issue or password issue. The Office365 SMTP settings are correct as well.
I'm using the Zabbix Appliance 3.4 which runs Zabbix server 3.4.7.
At this point I'm pretty much lost and completely out of ideas. Could anybody lend me a hand? I'd be thankful for any kind of pointers.
Also, is there any way to force sending a test e-mail? Right now I just take one of my hosts down and wait for the zabbix server to complain about the agent not being reachable. But that's kind of a hassle.
