Aggregation strategy
Hi,
I would like to aggregate some metrics.
I have 4 groups: UAT_linux, UAT_windows, LIVE_linux, LIVE_linux.
Because UAT_linux and LIVE_linux are similary environment, I would like to create aggregate template metrics.
The problem that I face is that I have to put the name of the group, so I cannot create a template. Is there a workaround for this ?
My second question is if I create an aggregate item for a template, will it be calculate by each host or only once.
Last question, is it possible to aggregate 2 groups.
In my case, can I aggregate item from UAT_linux and LIVE_linux.
That can be useful for example, if I want to calculate the total bandwith used by all servers.
I am running 1.1.6, I don't know if all I described is possibe. If not, will it be possible in 1.3.4 ?
