I'am new to Zabbix. I have it installed and it is working great.
Before zabbix we used nagios but i liek zabbix because it is so user friendly.
Zabbix-Server is running on RHEL4 under VMware-Server.
Clients to mointor are Linux and Windows Server.
Version i have is 1.1.7
Now my question:
I want to monitor the CPU-Utilization of a process running on a W2K3 machine.
I tried with perf_counter[\Prozess(servicename)\Prozessorzeit (%)] (yes it is in german language
) but it does not work.
I know that there is an proc_info item vor W32-Agents. I use it for process memory monitoring and it works well.
With proc_info i also can monitor kerneltime and usertime of a named process.
This is working but i don't know what the resulted values are meaning.
Can i calcutlate the percentage value from this reported values?
Or is there another way to monitor the CPU-Utilizaiton of prcoess for WK3 machines?
