I have installed Zabbix (1.4) and am having trouble getting the thing to start.
I have installed as described in the Zabbix manual, and have got to step 11 on page 40 - "cd bin, ./zabbix_server". WHen executing I did get the "libnetsnmp.so.15" missing error. I have corrected this by copying this file to /usr/lib.
Now when I execute zabbix_server I get nothing. No error or indication that anything is happening or has happened. This is the second time that I have installed Zabbix, and have got the same result both times.
If anyone chould shed any light on this I would really appreciate it.
