    AIX 5.3 Micro-partitions and virtualization

Can Zabbix be used to monitor hosts in an AIX 5.3 virtual environment?
Has anyone done this? Were you able to roll up aggregate micro-partition utilization to provide a frame based view of the resource consumption?

Can I use Zabbix to monitor the cpu consumption of a virtual host, with the understanding that 100% CPU utilization could reflect utilization of anywhere from 1/10th of a CPU, to all of the CPUs within a Shared Pool of CPU's?

Any comments would be appreciated, as I'm trying to determine whether or not it's worth pursuing Zabbix as a potential solution for tracking these types of metrics.

If anyone has successfully deployed into such an environment, it'd be really nice to hear about it.

Target environment being investigated consists of 150 Unix hosts, with 50 AIX 4.3, 5.1, and 5.2 environments, and about 100 AIX 5.3 fully virtualized (Uncapped in a shared pool using VIOS for all disk and network resources) micro-partitions.
