I manage approx. 180 Cisco switches and routers in Zabbix (1.1.7). One problem that I keep on having is the following, example:
- router is being monitored on Serial interface (IfIndex.1)
- connection get upgraded to Ethernet and the IfIndex becomes 2
The problem I have is that there are two keys with data that I would like to represent in the same graph for historical trending purposes, without holding on to the old key (ifindex.1). Is there any way that I can merge this old information? This also would be a nice to have in future versions....
