I have setup my Zabbix to collect syslog messages. I collect SNMP traps from my Cisco boxes and convert them into syslog messages after running snmptt. It works fine, however, I have problems with defining smart triggers. Currently, I have a trigger which looks for example for %LINK-3-UPDOWN messages, and send the message. But, I would also like to know which interface is down. I there any way to copy syslog message into not only a Trigger message but also into Action message, so when I receive an email alert, I know exactly what is going on, not only "Interface is down".
