I am trying to make escalations working. It is possible but I want to achieve probably something else. Maybe I only missed something?
- Is it possible to just increase severity instead of sending another message?
Or
- Is it possible to change media depending on escalations?
- Is it possible to "filter" recuring events by es
I want to achieve scenario, when I want to send first escalation step to jabber, second to email and third to SMS. But for same user. So we need either to increase severity or be able to filter type of medias for escalations steps.
It would filter problems with recuring events. Sometime it is problem that there is some packetloss on line and some actions are still recuring. Trigger is going down and up. This is right from zabbix side but annoying for us. When we have limited number of sms which we could send per day, this can be limiting. So SMS will be sent after trigger is on longer time.
