If I import a template into Zabbix that is mostly successful, but causes a few errors (eg "Incorrect key format 'key_name[param1,param2,...]'"), I still get a Green background and a message saying "Imported successfuly". One would only discover something amiss by clicking on 'Details'.
I suggest that green only be used when the import is 100% successful.
If some items cause problems, then the background should be changed to orange to alert the user, and also the text of the failed item should be displayed as right now [1.6.2] it will just display an error message giving little indication to the user which item is causing the problem.
