Using 1.6.3, I discovered a problem that you might want to document. I was having to manually refresh every dynamic page so that the right menus/content would appear. For instance, let's say I was creating a new item. I would add the item and save, but when the browser went back to the item list, it would not be there! Or, even worse, if I changed an existing item, it would appear to have the old value. Even worse, if I wanted to clone an item, I would refresh the item list, revealing the updated item, then click on it, but now I would see them item as it was last presented to the browser. Cloning this would clone the previous values of the item, not the current values!
This was caused by my default ExpiresActive setting, and was subsequently fixed by turning off ExpiresActive. Note, this is in Apache and is the result of overly aggressive performance tuning
