According to [1], since 1.8 version Zabbix uses JSON based communication protocol for communication with Zabbix Agent.
However, as explained only active checks are provided with that new feature. I even checked its source codes (zabbix_agent.c, sysinfo.c).
Thus, do you see the possibility of an agent sending multiple values on a single TCP request on passive checks as well? Is it feasible?
