I have a scenario where the connection between the server and the agents cannot be open all the time as the server is in a different location from the agents (which are themselves in different locations) and a VPN connection is necessary, which cannot be open 24/7 and also requires human interaction to iniciate.
My question is: is it possible for the agent to batch send the values accumulated since the last time communication with server occurred?
Note: I am not using SNMP and my enfasis is on data gathering and analysis, not real-time monitoring.
