Hello everyone
I am working with Zabbix for the first time again since 2007, so basically as new.
I am systems administrator and I often use Icinga/Nagios and Cacti for basic host alerting, monitoring, data collection, and trending/reporting.
I've only been using Zabbix now for 24 hours, and I am running into a number of issues that have left me disappointed or frustrated.
In the process of writing up the issues I encounter, I am wondering what other people have written about Zabbix?
I am looking for other educated (not trolling) critiques, known design issues, and technical issues which Zabbix users might often bring up.
What are the most common complaints and issues encountered? What wishlist items most often come up?
Please post anything you know. I will come back here in another week or two to post what I've learned, the issues I ran into, and my gripes about Zabbix.
