Hi,
In many situations I have more then one path to reach simple check destination. The way I can control this is by using simple policy routing.
However I see no way to specify list of src ip addresses to be used by zabbix when setting up simple checks test. Same for IPv4 same for IPv6.
As we all know interface can have more then one IP address (at least in linux
.
Is this something anyone is looking at to implement ?
Example:
Site is connected to ISP1 and ISP2. zabbix-server is running and I would like icmp ping target X but using two different src IP addresses. Each src IP will take a different ISP exit. I can define two test too - one using different IP src address.
Today afaik source_ip is global per entire zabbix-server which does not help this case.
Many thx,
Robert.
