Hi,
Yesterday I started my migration from Zabbix 5.0 LTS to 6.0 LTS and now right in the middle you shutdown the old share.zabbix.com site and replaced it with the new one where most templates are missing. Most of the templates I have already installed (and dumped the old site because of the warning that it might be shutdown in the future), the remaining ones I wanted to install today but now I need to screw all that and return to my old Zabbix 5.0 because of the missing templates half of them are not available anymore. That is really frustrating. I really don't get why you remove the old one when most of the templates are still missing on the new site. Would be great if you atleast would have archived it somehow (even a dump on a FTP would be fine). In my opinion that was a very big step backward. Zabbix was great because of all the integrations created by users. Now with most of them missing, making my monitoring very incomplete, I will have a look at some other monitoring tools.
For some plugins I fould the githubs of the creator but many (hundreds?) of templates are now just lost because they only existed on the old share.zabbix.com page.
And many of the new templates are just not working because either config files or an explanation how to install them are missing. Don't you read the issus on your github like this one: https://github.com/zabbix/community-templates/issues/32? Even there people point to the old share.zabbix.com or other sources to download stuff because something is missing in the github. Like for example the "template_zfs_on_linux" template where the "ZoL_without_sudo.conf" is missing or the "template_md_raid" where the "userparameter_md.conf" is missing that I needed to install yesterday. And the latter one was for example only available on the old site.
Does someome maybe dumped the Installation guide, template and config files for these templates that I'm still missing?
- Aruba Instant On 1930
- Something to monitor Docker Containers without swarm or kubernetes
- APT Updates Monitoring (template is in github but no explanation how to install it and no config files)
Greetings
Björn
