I have an item (snmp) that generates "funny" characters I.E not visible (binary data).

I have created a value map but i had to use SQL to enter the values in the map as they had invisible characters.

Would be good to have items with "Type of information" as Hex or simmilar to save this
character strings in a more visible form.
