Modifying core Zabbix Template for Juniper Devices to add Alarm OIDS
Hi.
We've just noticed that the Juniper Firewall Template (https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/...at=release/7.2 ) doesn't monitor the chassis alarm status (SNMP MIB Objects in Junos OS 24.4R1 | Juniper Networks SNMP MIB Explorer) , and i'd trying to work out how to request the uplift of the template to support monitoring of these OIDS (1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.4.2) .
I've not done any fundamental template editing yet and only just learning how to develop my own discovery rules, so don't want to take on modifying such a fundamental template by myself
Is there a guide on making improvements (and process that is followed) to support modifying the core templates , or is anyone else able to help uplift them?
