A.1.1 – Store tags in the Zabbix database
- Add the ability to manage tags in bulk (add, delete, rename, add descriptions, etc.).
- Enable auto-suggestion of existing tags from the database when entering a new tag, making tag creation faster and more consistent.
A.2.1 – Easier and safer tag assignment
- Provide more intuitive options for adding, editing, or removing tags on objects to reduce errors and improve usability.
B. Hosts
B.1 – Linking Hosts
B.1.1 – Create links between hosts
- Enable the ability to link related hosts (e.g., application servers and database servers).
- Generate infrastructure views to improve understanding of host relationships.
- Allow linking hosts with external hardware (e.g., iDRAC/ILO cards).
C. Host Groups
C.1 – Templates & Host Groups
C.1.1 – Link templates to host groups
- Automatically apply templates to all hosts within a group.
- Inherit checks from templates without having to manually configure each host.
- Simplify large-scale host monitoring and configuration.
