My installation of Zabbix has a point where we have so many hosts, the overview screen takes like 15 seconds to load, on a LAN.
It appears that the server names are actual images, instead of sideways text. I'm not sure if that can be changed, but they take some time to load.
I have a suggestion for an alternate overview screen, since overview really should be just very general, immidiate data, the current overview screen has too much data (triggers and lots of hosts).
My proposed overview screen would be just a grid of hosts, with a green mark for good overall status, yellow for degraded status (a trigger in alert status), and red for down host.
I know this can somewhat be accomplished by a map, but theres no way I see to make a map change hosts colors based on status, or number of alarms triggered.
The current overview screen, in my opinion, should be moved to like Detailed Network view or something.
If this is doable in the next version, I think it would increase general network awarness in a simplified way, while retaining the current overview layout but called a different name.
