I am using Zabbix to monitor several servers, most of them over an IPSEC VPN tunnel. The servers are running Windows 2003. I am receiving emails from Zabbix to alert me that a host is unreachable, when I am able to ping it, VNC on to it etc.
The downtime usually lasts around 40 minutes, but can be longer or shorter, before Zabbix is able to connect again. I can't see any clear patterns in when this happens - but if often servers at the same location will be reported as unreachable at the same time.
I have changed the trigger on the Windows template to:
{Template_Windows:status.last(0)}=2 & {Template_Windows:status.nodata(300)}=1
This does not seem to have made any difference however.
I am running Zabbix 1.4.6. The agent in each case is version 1.4.4
Any suggestions appreciated!
