Notifications don't work on templates

Hi all,

I found some threads where the problem with notifications bound to templates is discussed. Is there already a solution? How can I resolv this issue?

Mails sent from commandline work, but not from zabbix.

System:
Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 Lenny
Kernel: 2.6.26-2-amd64
Zabbix-Version: 1.6.4
