Triggers on Graphs with Multiple Items

I have read from previous threads on the topic that Zabbix cannot show a threshold line on graphs if there are multiple items on the graph or if the triggers linked to the threshold are complex.

I'm hoping to find out if anyone has found a workaround to the question of multiple items or if a solution is in the pipeline.

I am showing both inbound and outbound bandwidth stats on the same graph and it would be helpful to not have to create two graphs.
