Is there any way to specify the group as a macro in item parameters? This is needed for an aggregate to appear as an item in a template that is assigned to more than one group.
Our environment involves a large number of similar groups of hosts, and I'd like to have an aggregate in each group to use as part of an action throttling mechanism - specifically - don't send a notification for each host if more than 10% of the hosts are down.
Does anyone have any other methods that might be used to provide dependencies to reduce the total alert count when multiple hosts are down in a group?
