This is my first time in this forum. The reason I joined was it seemed like everytime I searched for an issue in google this site kept popping up. I hope someone can help. Here's the scoop. I'm running a Dell server running openmanage/netsnmp and can't seem to get the source address in the trap correct. Does anyone know how to configure netsnmp to send a specific IP address in the trap? I have 2 interfaces one public and one management. It seems that no matter what I do the private IP is the one always sent in the trap. Can I change something in the startup script or the snmpd.conf file?
