Hi All,
I have four Zabbix systems running, three as child nodes (zen1-3), and one master (zenmas). Zen1-3 are all configured the same, to monitor the same systems in the same ways. They send data back to zenmas, which collects and displays the data as a central management point. This is all working fine. My problems start with triggers and actions.
I have triggers on each of the boxes that trip when ICMP ping fails 7 out of the last 10 times ( {system:icmpping.sum(#10)}<4 ). When the ping fails and trigger is set, each individual system shows the trigger properly as unacknowledged problems. However, zenmas shows the triggers, with value of "Problem", but they are listed as acknowledged. This means that I can't set an action condition of "event acknowledged" = no.
The other problem that I have is setting up an action to only occur if all three fail. If I select the trigger from each host, and set trigger value to problem, and make it AND so that it is "(A and B and C) and D", the action is never set off, even though all three triggers are set.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Kenny
