Hello,
I would like to give a quick feedback about Zabbix.
First of all, I am now working in a company with the aim of replacing Nagios by a better solution. Our 2 nagios servers are overloaded (the scheduler is always late).
I tested other solutions: Osmius, Zenoss, OpenNMS and quickly found that Zabbix will be the best solution.
Its interface is powerful without being too heavy. Everything can be done across it. However, if we want to go further, we can directly apply modifications into the database.
I really like the hierarchical node architecture.
The only problem I found, is the fact that the organisation is only based on hosts (and not services): http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthre...6329#post76329
I really hope, that Zabbix won't take the same way than Nagios -> a commercial solution (with a poor free version), run by its own guru.
I am currently in touch with Zabbix sales to get a Gold Support.
Thank you for your great job guys
